Greetings Traveler! Thanks to the miracles of modern technology, it’s now possible to listen via USB on Mobius, and simultaneously place or receive phone calls from a paired Bluetooth mobile device that is compatible with such functions.
Once your mobile device is paired via Bluetooth (see the article on how to do that here), you can change the input source (plug in a cable and/or double-click the 3D Button) to listen to your USB source. Then:
- If you want to place a call, pick up your paired mobile device and place the call normally. You may be asked by your device to choose which output device you want to use.
- If your paired device receives an incoming call, it will ring through on Mobius and you can choose to answer on the device itself or by a click of Mobius’ Power Button.
Once the call is placed or answered, your previous audio connection will drop in level slightly and the phone call will take priority volume level. Mobius’ microphone will similarly be routed to the call over Bluetooth, and to your USB connection source. NOTE: Be careful not to divulge any rebel secrets by accidentally transmitting them over USB!
After the call is ended, audio should then return to normal, with your USB connection source at previous volume and the microphone providing its output to that source only. It’s just like nothing ever happened, and we provide a hearty congratulations to you for your ability to bend the space/time continuum!
