What the Headphone Volume Control does

Greetings Traveler! The purpose of the Headphone Volume Control would appear to be a rather simple affair, and on the surface it is. Of course to call it simple would be sort of like calling a Spartan Cannon or Kree sub-machine gun simple, but that's another discussion for another day...

The Volume Control on Mobius is a rotary encoder that offers four separate but related functions, that we know of so far:

1. Spin the encoder up to raise the volume in the headphones, and conversely spin it down to lower the volume. Refreshingly simple as a cool glass of lemonade, yes?
2. Click, then spin up or down to skip to the next or previous track, on platforms that support this action. This will be an exciting revelation for those who who prefer to rock the mixtape while navigating the galaxy but don't necessarily love all the tunes on said mixtape. If you accidentally click and spin when you meant only to spin, do not panic! A simple click and spin the opposite direction will take you back to the track you just left.
3. Double click to link back to the last connected Bluetooth device. In other words, if you were previously on a call to Mom via your mobile phone over BT, then you switched over to your PC to play some tunes, then remembered you need to call Dad and tell him that Mom said to say Aunt Suzy is coming over for dinner tomorrow-- never fear! A double click of the headphone volume control will re-connect Mobius to your phone so you can make the call with ease.
4. Long press for 3 seconds to turn USB charging off (the Gypsy Muse will recite an incantation telling you this has been done). This feature is handy when using Mobius with a USB enabled device that may be running on its own battery (such as a smartphone), and you don’t want to deplete said battery to charge Mobius. In order to re-activate USB charging, you’ll need to power Mobius off, then on again.

Note: Audeze reserves the right to add as many more functions to this encoder as we feel the universe can handle. In case you're wondering just how many functions the universe can handle, the answer to this is most likely 42.
