The FILTER's speaker boost function is a great way to get a bit of extra volume out of your FILTER if you're in an especially loud environment or in a noisy conference.
Speaker boost can be enabled from the Hub app for Android, iOS, Mac or Windows:
Because the Speaker boost function is pushing the FILTER's internal amplifier past where it's most stable, you can experience some clipping or distortion depending on how high it's set. This poses no danger to your FILTER, but it might not be the most ideal audio experience.
For the best experience we recommend setting both your FILTER's volume level (via the + and - buttons) and the volume of your source device to maximum before enabling any speaker boost.
You'll notice that the Speaker Boost function is color coded in the apps. Pushing the boost beyond the mid way point (the orange section) is very likely to begin clipping or distorting audio, so we recommend keeping it below that unless needed.
