Removing the Ear Pads
Maxwell 2 ANC comes with detachable magnetic ear pads for quick swapping between new sets. To detach the ear pads, simply pull up from the ear cups. When re-attaching ear pads, note the orientation of the ear pad magnets as well as the L and R labeling for Left and Right ear cups for proper fitting.
Removing the Ear Cup Covers (including ReSkin™)
Maxwell 2 ANC features detachable magnetic ear cup shells for further customization. To remove a shell, press the top at the alignment indicator (a small dot) and gently rotate it counterclockwise to offset the magnets. When reattaching, align the indicator on the headphones and cover to ensure proper orientation.
NOTE: The ANC and Transparency modes on Maxwell ANC utilize both of the microphones on the left and right side of the headphones, underneath the ear up shells. In order for these two modes to function properly, these microphones must not be physically blocked or obscured. While using ANC or Transparency modes, be sure to use ReSkin shells that are not marked as incompatible with Maxwell 2 ANC.
