The Audeze HQ App is the best way to find the percentage of battery life remaining, when connected on Windows or Mac (Android battery level check is coming soon).
If not using the HQ app, each platform (and sometimes each device type) will have a different way to check the battery level of attached Bluetooth devices:
- Apple devices have fairly standardized battery indicators for connected Bluetooth devices, which vary slightly depending on the device and OS version.
- Windows 10 computers may have various ways to check battery via Bluetooth.
- Android devices ability to check battery over BT varies quite a bit, since each device manufacturer and OS version will implement this at their discretion.
- Most consoles do not offer a way to check battery levels of headsets, as far as we know. Please check the manual of your console for advice on this.
Penrose has a built-in early warning system as the battery level drops. It gives a verbal low battery warning once there is about 1 hour of remaining life (actual time varies depending on use case). The LED will also flash at two speeds for a visual reminder.
