Greetings fellow travelers! If you’re reading this, you may have come across other Mobius users in your travels and are now wondering if it is possible to listen to one source over multiple Mobiuses. The short answer to this question is yes, but with some limitations.
Currently, it is only possible to listen to one source over multiple pairs of Mobius through Bluetooth connection on Mac OSX. Here are the instructions for doing that:
- Pair each Mobius with your computer by putting Mobius into pairing mode (double click the power button) and then locating those devices within your Bluetooth Preferences menu.
- Once your Mobiuses are successfully paired, you will need to create a Multi-Output Device in your Audio MIDI Setup utility. To do this, open your Audio MIDI Setup utility and then select the “+” symbol at the bottom left corner of the window, and select “Create Multi-Output Device.”
- Once your output device has been created, enable all paired Mobiuses by clicking the corresponding boxes under the “Use” column as indicated in the following screenshot. NOTE: If you are having issues with the audio signal drifting, please enable “Drift Correction” within the Audio MIDI Setup utility.
