June 2023 Trade in offer for LCD-5 or CRBN

For a limited time, trade in your gently used headphones from any manufacturer with an MSRP of $1499 or more towards the purchase of a new LCD-5 or CRBN at $2495. The headphone being traded in must be in good working order and condition, be unmodified, and have the original accessories including cables, but original packaging is not required. In-Ear headphones are being considered. Headphone trades must be for models currently in production, or subject to prior approval. Serial numbers must be intact. All returns are subject to our inspection and approval. You pay shipping to us; we pay return shipping for your LCD-5 or CRBN once approved.

Program Details:

• Once your contact details have been given, you will be supplied with an RMA number and return shipping instructions. After Audeze receives the headphones, we will examine them to be sure they’re acceptable for this program. If accepted, you’ll be contacted for payment (we reserve the right to alter the amount of credit offered based on condition). If not accepted, we’ll let you know and ship the headphones back to you at our expense.

• Before the new headphones are shipped, we must receive both payment of the balance due and the headphones being traded in. Once inspected and paid in full, we will release the order for shipping. Shipping time frames are dependent on current stock and will be fulfilled depending on current unless otherwise noted.

• After receipt of the LCD-5s or CRBNs, you will have a 7-day evaluation period in which you may contact us to begin a return if you’re not satisfied. NO returns or refunds will be accepted after 10 days from receipt. We offer two options for return:

  1. You may return the LCD-5s or CRBNs for full refund and will be credited the amount paid (less any shipping or duties costs), plus have your original headphones returned to you at our expense (except duties). Shipping the LCD-5s or CRBNs back to us will be at your expense, and you must get a return authorization from us first. 

  2. If you want to keep your new LCD-5s or CRBNs and get your traded-in headphones back, you will be billed for the amount of the trade-in value ($2000). Once that payment is received, we will ship your original headphones back to you at our expense (except duties).

The fine print: Audeze reserves the right to refuse or modify any trade-in deal at any time, or to end this program early. Original cables only – we don’t want aftermarket cables. There is no additional credit given for aftermarket cables or modifications, and we may charge extra to replace any missing/damaged parts or accessories, or we may refuse the deal entirely and return your headphones to you. If there is serious damage, they don’t work, or they have divots like Adam Sandler played golf with them, please don’t bother sending them in. Serial numbers must be intact. This is a limited time offer – it expires June 30th, 2023.

Due to added complexity, cost, and warranty coverage, this offer is limited to customers within North America. For those outside of North America, you can inquire with your local distributors to see if they're offering any kind of promotion, however, we cannot legally demand our distributors offer the same deal.
